Welcome to Sandy Oaks Ranch, a Texas Style Lodge nestled in the beautiful, large live oaks of Medina County, 35 miles south of San Antonio on Interstate 35. With an abundance of live oak trees and picturesque scenery, we offer a private, intimate and unique party or wedding experience.

Come let us help you create your own special event. Our goal is to make you and your guests feel welcome and relaxed while doing our best to accommodate your personal needs and wishes. Our deepest desire is that we will help you create special memories.

Whether it’s an engagement celebration, bridal party retreat, groomsmen getaway, or a theme wedding, we can custom design your event. From gourmet to barbeque, simple elegance to country charm, traditional to theme wedding, we are the perfect private venue.

We have two party pavilions. The main lodge has indoor and outdoor facilities which include: an outdoor pavilion area with a fireplace, bar, TV, pool, hot tub and kitchen. The indoor facilities include: living and dining areas, bar, kitchen, TV, and restrooms. The main lodge area can accommodate up to 120 seated guests. The second pavilion area also offers indoor and outdoor facilities which include: an outdoor pavilion area with a bar, four TV’s and PA system. The indoor facilities include: a serving area with a TV and restrooms. This pavilion can accommodate 150+ seated guests. Both party pavilions offer beautiful views of large live oaks, rolling fields and overlook a two and a half acre tank.

Having your wedding, party, reception, retreat or reunion at Sandy Oaks Ranch gives you and your guests exclusive use of our facilities. Enjoy activities such as:

• Swimming and Hot Tubbing
• Horseshoes and Washers
• Fishing
• Sporting Clays, Wingshooting, Fly Fishing and Hunting ( Custom Packages Available)
  

We also offer lodging in our Texas style cabins and can accommodate 10 to 16 overnight guests. There are five guestrooms, each with a private bathroom and TV.

• Room #1 has two twin beds and can sleep two people
• Room #2 has two queen size beds and can sleep two to four people
• Room #3 has three twin beds and can sleep three people
• Room #4 has two queen size beds and can sleep two to four people
• Room #5 has three twin beds and can sleep three people

Sandy Oaks Ranch will provide exclusive use of the entire indoor-outdoor event venue, including the chairs and tables (up to 100 provided), caterer's kitchen as well as the outdoor ceremony sites.

Corporate and Family Retreats

Welcome to Sandy Oaks Ranch, a South Texas Lodge located in the large live oaks of Medina County. Guests in search of a private and relaxing getaway will enjoy all that we have to offer.

Sandy Oaks Ranch is located 35 miles south of San Antonio on Interstate 35. Named to depict its beautiful terrain, we are situated in the Sarita-Wilco sands with an abundance of live oak trees and picturesque scenery. We offer a unique vacationing or business meeting experience. Whether you are an individual or corporate group, we will meet your needs.

For Family Retreats, just book two rooms and you can have the whole lodge to yourself. Enjoy socializing in the outdoor pavilion area with fireplace, bar, TV, pool and spa or the indoor comforts of the main lodge. We offer casual dining with gourmet country-style cuisine in a relaxed and hospitable atmosphere. The Texas style cabins can accommodate 10 to 16 overnight guests. There are five guest rooms, each with a private bathroom.

• $175 per person / per day – Double Room Occupancy
• $200 per person / per day – Single Room Occupancy

For Corporate Retreats, we will customize a day or overnight package for you. Whatever the size of your group, you will have the meeting area of your choice to yourself in order to conduct your private business. We have two meeting areas available. The main lodge has both indoor and outdoor facilities. It can accommodate 20 people for an indoor meeting, and 50+ people for an outdoor meeting. The larger pavilion area can accommodate 125+ for an outdoor meeting.
